Woodfest will make its return to Clarion

The second annual Lumber Heritage WoodFest will be held at the Clarion Mall on March 21-22, featuring live chainsaw carving, custom woodworking, handcrafted jewelry, and interactive activities for all ages. Visitors can explore Pennsylvania’s forestry history, learn about sustainable practices through the WoodMobile, and participate in hands-on experiences like mushroom log cultivation, tree identification, and DIY birdfeeder crafts. The festival also includes educational presentations on Pennsylvania’s forests and hickory syrup production. Sponsored by local businesses and organizations, the free event celebrates the region’s rich lumber heritage.
