Women’s Day event set for Saturday

Laura Wilbur, a litigation strategist, certified mediator and lecturer with 25 years of legal experience, will give the keynote address during the International Women’s Day event at the Oil City YWCA Saturday.

The Oil City-Franklin Zonta Club and the YWCA are hosting an International Women’s Day celebration this Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the YWCA on Central Avenue. Held in memory of community activist Libby Williams, the free event welcomes all who support women’s empowerment. Keynote speaker Laura R. Wilbur will present “Don’t Be a Lady, Be a Legend,” and attendees can choose from breakout sessions on holistic, physical, financial, and mental well-being. Now in its third year, the event continues to foster community and personal growth with inspiring discussions and refreshments.
