An Ohio woman has been identified as the person who jumped to her death Wednesday afternoon from a bridge in the area of Deer Creek and Beaver Furnace Road near Interstate 80 in Beaver Township, Clarion County.
Clarion County Coroner Dan Shingledecker identified the woman as Olivera Baumgartner, 58, of Ohio. The coroner didn’t know where in Ohio she was from.
Shingledecker said Baumgartner died from blunt force injuries.
The incident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, and Clarion state police, Clarion Fire & Hose Co. No. 1 and Clarion Hospital EMS also responded.
