BEAVER (AP) – A woman in western Pennsylvania found an 8-foot-long unwelcomed passenger on her SUV.
The Beaver County Times reports Patricia Russell discovered a carpet python snake wrapped around the roof of her vehicle in WesBanco’s parking lot in Beaver on Thursday morning.
Police were called to capture the snake and took it to the Aquatic Gardens in Beaver Falls.
Pet shop owner Rick Glitsch says the snake is harmless to humans but appeared to have been run over with a lawn mower.
He says he’d take care of it to try to nurse it back to health.
