Oil City police said the 15-year-old boy and his family were at the residence of Lisa Stahlman, 34, on Friday, when Stahlman began to give the boy various alcoholic beverages and made sexual advances, which he turned down.
A criminal complaint filed by patrolman Robert Culp said Stahlman continued this behavior until the boy reached a point of extreme intoxication, at which point Stahlman had sexual intercourse with the boy in her living room.
Police said the boy’s mother presented officers with evidence from other minors who witnessed the events inside Stahlman’s residence.
Officers then responded to the Stahlman home and spoke with all the juvenile witnesses who were present during the events of the previous evening before placing Stahlman under arrest, police said.
The officers on scene contacted Venango County Children and Youth Services and the on-call delegate responded to make provisional care for Stahlman’s minor children, who live with her.
Oil City police and Venango County CYS were also assisted by agents of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, as Stahlman is currently under supervision with that agency.
Stahlman was arraigned Sunday before district judge Andrew Fish on charges including felony counts of rapeimpaired person/alcohol, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors.
She is also charged with misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors, indecent assault and furnishing alcohol to minors.
Bail was set at $250,000 straight, and Stahlman was committed to the Venango County jail, where she is currently being held on a parole detainer.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 25 in Venango County Central Court.
