Joann Moore was the winner of the fishing contest Saturday during the Venango Fatherhood Initiative’s family fishing picnic at Two Mile Run County Park.
Moore caught a 13-inch bass. Caleb Coxson came in second place with an 11-inch bass.
There were 68 people in attendance for the event.
“It was such a delight to see so many smiling faces during the event,” said director Anthony Rosario-Adams. “This event gave some individuals the opportunity to go fishing for the first time.”
