Wesley Grange No. 1675 will host a program about drug abuse at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16.
The program will be presented by Michelle McGee, community service officer with the Pennsylvania State Police; and Christina M. Rugh, the Venango County coroner.
Topics will include how to help communities respond to prescription and over-the-counter medication abuse, what can be done to increase awareness and security in the home, and what to watch for regarding prescription medication.
The overall trends with opioid abuse will also be discussed.
Wesley Grange is located at 601 Old Route 8, Harrisville, in the village of Wesley about 15 miles south of Franklin and two miles north of Barkeyville.
