Weber garden opens next month in Titusville

The David L. Weber Memorial Community Garden on Central Avenue in Titusville will open next month.

The garden will serve as a place of connection, growth and support for the entire region, according to the United Way of the Venango and Titusville Region.

The main purpose of the garden is to help address food insecurity by providing fresh produce to local food pantries, families and individuals in need.

The garden will also offer educational opportunities for children and adults to learn about healthy eating, sustainable gardening practices and the importance of giving back to the community.

Along with the opening of the garden, the United Way will launch a series of new events and volunteer opportunities throughout the summer and fall.

Anyone interested in volunteering or learning more about upcoming events can visit uwtitusville.org, contact United Way at events@uwvenango.org or call 814-827-1322.
