Franklin state police say Jonathan J. Mast, 30, of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, swindled $19,900 from July 18 to Sept. 24. He was supposed to begin construction of a personal recreation building, but never paid the subcontractors or paid for the materials, police said.
Victims have been identified as 84 Lumber in Cranberry Township and a 38-year-old man.
A criminal complaint was filed with district judge Patrick Lowery charging Mast with theft by deception and bad checks. A warrant has been issued for Mast’s arrest, police said.
