Venango Region Catholic School will celebrate its eighth annual Heritage Gala, “A Starry Night,” on Saturday, March 16, at the junior-senior high school.
All proceeds will go toward educational and operational expenses for this school year, according to a VRCS news release. Any fundraising efforts will benefit current students.
Cocktail hour and the silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. A live auction and dancing will follow. Cost is $75 per guest or $525 to reserve a table of eight. Formal attire required.
Since its inaugural event in 2017, the school has raised over $230,000 to benefit Catholic education.
Though the high school will close at the end of this school year, the school system is committed to continuing Catholic education in the area with Pre-K through grade 8 at St. Stephen School.
