A Victorian Christmas Weekend will be held Friday through Sunday, Dec. 16-18, in Franklin. The event includes various holiday shopping opportunities at Franklin businesses. The Christmas Tree Extravaganza at the Barrow-Civic Theatre will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. The Franklin YMCA’s Twas the Night with Santa will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The Franklin Public Library’s gingerbread contest and display will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Holiday Whobilation with the Grinch will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Franklin library. Registration is required for the event.
The Venango County Historical Society will hold its Christmas tours and toy show from noon to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Christmas carolling on Liberty Street begins at 1 p.m. at the Porch Music Store.
