Veteran outreach hours set

From staff reports

State Rep. R. Lee James will offer veterans affairs outreach hours at his Seneca office, 3220 Route 257, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

An accredited field service officer from the American Legion Department of Pennsylvania will be available to assist veterans with a variety of issues, according to a news release from James’ office.

Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive the service, which is free, but appointments are required.

Interested participants are asked to call James’ office at (814) 677-6413 so their names and phone numbers can be shared with the field service officer, who will contact them to make an appointment.

Outreach hours are held on the third Tuesday of the month.
