Venango Tea Party vehemently denies Abramovic’s accusations

The Venango County Tea Party Patriots released a statement refuting comments made by County Commissioner Albert Abramovic, who claimed the group wanted election processes controlled solely by Republicans. Speaking at a rally with U.S. Sen. John Fetterman for Kamala Harris, Abramovic alleged that Republicans were attempting to rig the upcoming election and only allow Republicans to access election equipment and conduct hand recounts. The Tea Party Patriots’ press release called these claims “preposterous,” asserting they’ve consistently advocated for a bipartisan election process. They noted their history of cooperation with the county, including equal participation of Democrats in election audits. Jeff Lehman, a Tea Party leader, attempted to address the issue with Abramovic, but was unsuccessful in making contact.
