This month marks the deadline to pay the face value of some property taxes in Venango County.
The pandemic-related business shutdowns prompted some taxing bodies to delay the discount, face and penalty charges.
Venango County property taxes may be paid at face value through Sept. 30. Penalties will be assessed after that date.
In Oil City, the face value amount for city property taxes will be accepted through Sept. 30. The school district deadline is Oct. 31.
The collection phases for Cranberry Township, Franklin and several other municipalities and school districts didn’t change.
