Venango County Human Services is accepting nominations for its annual awards event to be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Wanango Country Club.
Human Services departments and related advisory boards plan to honor individuals who have contributed in a significant manner to service delivery or support.
The categories for this year include outstanding volunteer, outstanding individual, outstanding family and outstanding community partner.
Individuals who meet one of the following criteria may be nominated for recognition:
– An individual (adult or youth) who has shown a commitment to personal growth or service to the community by helping those who are in need.
This can be a consumer, family member, service provider, community partner or anyone who is an example of giving to others.
