A tire recycling collection event, sponsored by Venango County, will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, in the rear parking lot of the Cranberry Mall.
All attendees are required to pre-register with the County Planning Department by calling (814) 432-9684 or (814) 432-9689. The deadline to pre-register is Friday, Oct. 12.
The cost is $2 per car or light truck tire. Cost for oversized tires, tires that are over 4 feet tall and/or 14 inches wide is $8. The maximum number of tires allowed to be turned in per resident is 20.
