The Venango County Makerspace will hold its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday on the fifth floor of 100 Seneca in downtown Oil City.
The event will mark the official launch of the county’s newest community space for artists, entrepreneurs, hobbyists and innovators.
The event is open to the public.
Following the ribbon cutting, attendees will be invited to tour the makerspace, enjoy light refreshments and learn about upcoming classes and workshops.
Special guests and local artists will also be on hand to showcase their work and talk about the impact the makerspace can have on the local creative community.
