The Venango Chorus will present “The Carols of Christmas” concert this Sunday at 7 p.m. at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Oil City. The free event will feature over 60 singers, the West Virginia University Graduate World Music Ensemble, and a variety of Christmas songs and carols. Highlights include African percussion and steel drum performances by graduate students, adding a unique flair to the evening. Directed by Beth Orris with accompaniment by Kristen Criado, the concert will be followed by a cookie reception in the Fellowship Hall.
