The Venango Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its Outstanding Citizen Award.
The award is given to an individual or individuals who show civic leadership through volunteerism and service to the community.
Nominees must be community volunteers with records of extensive and diverse participation in community service and civic involvement, aside from accomplishments directly related to the candidate’s employment.
Those wishing to nominate individuals for the Outstanding Citizen Award may submit an official nomination form along with a nominating letter that describes the nominee’s background and qualifications for this award.
The deadline for nominations is Nov. 12.
Forms are available at the chamber office at 24 Seneca St. or www.members.venangochamber.org.
