Through a partnership with Citslinc International, the chamber is organizing a trip to China next year.
The trip, which is scheduled Oct. 19-27, 2020, includes stops in Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou with opportunities to visit historic sites like the Great Wall of China and Tiananmen Square.
“We’re excited to organize this trip, one that I had the chance to experience earlier this year,” chamber president Susan Williams said.
“This is an excellent opportunity to be introduced to China,” Williams said. “It’s extremely affordable and includes visits to major cities, various economic zones and major historical sites.”
Some of the highlights will include visiting the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Ming Tombs and The Bund.
The cost of the trip is $2,299, which includes airfare from Washington, D.C., hotel accommodations at 4- and 5-star hotels, three full meals a day and professional drivers and tour operators.
For those who may be interested in participating in the trip, an information meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the chamber office, 24 Seneca St., Oil City.
