Venango Catholic High School will host its annual Heritage Gala on Saturday, March 19, at the school.
This year’s black-tie event will be “Under the Sea” themed and will feature a surf and turf dinner, dancing, and live and silent auctions.
“We have a collective legacy of 125 years of Catholic education in the Venango region, and the generosity of our guests, sponsors and advertisers is integral to protecting that history,” said Melissa Cyphert, the fundraising and event coordinator for Venango Region Catholic School, which includes Venango Catholic High School and St. Stephen Elementary School.
“Our gala is one of our major fundraising events, and we want to build and strengthen our relationships with the donors and families who invest in our mission,” Cyphert said. “As a tuition-based school that is not funded by taxpayers, the support of our local community helps ensure that any family who wants a faith-based, values-centered education for their children can receive one,” Cyphert added.
Proceeds from the gala will help support the school’s operating expenses, including teacher salaries, scholarships and building maintenance.
Seating can be reserved beginning in February and will be $75 per guest or $525 to reserve a table for eight.
