The Venango Archaeology Chapter will meet at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Christ United Methodist Church, 1135 Buffalo St., Franklin.
This meeting will be a “show-and-tell” gathering where anyone can take any items related to the field of archeology – particularly those that might relate to the local area.
Individuals may take artifacts, both prehistoric and historic, to display and talk informally about their own collections and to see other’s collections and interests. The displays could include metal detector items as well. Items do not need to be in cases or display boxes.
Venango Archaeology programs are free and open to the public.
