Five Venango County 4-H members recently attended the National 4-H Ignite Conference in Washington, D.C., after earning their spots through an application and interview process. The event brought together youth from 49 states, U.S. territories, and other countries for educational workshops, monument tours, and inspirational speakers. Participants also visited sites like NASA and the USDA, took part in a nationwide pin trade, and designed community service projects. Highlights for the Venango 4-Hers included visiting the Lincoln Memorial and making new friends from Missouri and Florida.
