Valley Grove School District is seeking a new business manager following the resignation of Jon Stewart, effective April 23. Stewart, who has served since 2022, is leaving for a finance director role at the Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit. The district posted the vacancy on Facebook. At the recent board meeting, Jennifer Johnston was hired as the new school psychologist, replacing Heather Morrison, whose resignation takes effect Feb. 7. Jenna Dilley was hired as a secondary English teacher, pending certification, and Abigail Hanna joined as a paraprofessional. Heather Long was transferred to a nurse tech/paraprofessional role. The board also approved LaResa Crockett’s resignation as a paraprofessional and finalized several coaching appointments for various sports programs.
