The Valley Grove School Board reelected Brandon Winger as president and Cindy Swendsen as vice president during its reorganization meeting. Melanie Anderson and Todd Carson will continue as representatives for the Riverview Intermediate Unit 6 and the Venango County Technology Center Joint Committee, respectively. In its regular meeting, the board reviewed the tentative 2025-26 budget for the Venango Technology Center, totaling $8,986,969, with a district contribution of $646,806—a 3.96% decrease from the previous year due to increased state subsidies. Superintendent Kevin Briggs noted that a vote on the contribution is scheduled for next month.
