LOS ANGELES (AP) — Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler isn’t giving Disney World a thumbs-up for digitally altering his hand in a video that plays at an attraction featuring the band.
Tyler, wearing a hat with an expletive written on it, posted a photo of himself Thursday on social media making the same gesture as he did in the opening video for the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Several videos and images posted on social media this week by visitors to the 17-year-old attraction show Tyler’s fingers were changed at some point in the opening footage.
The rocker briefly made the gesture in the video featuring Aerosmith members addressing riders of the attraction.
Tyler wrote on Facebook that he was shocked by the change. He wrote, “WAY TO GIVE ME THE FINGER NOW WALT DISNEY WORLD … 17 YEARS LATER.” He also called the coaster “THE GREATEST RIDE AT DISNEY.”
Disney World did not immediately return messages seeking comment.
The indoor coaster features limo-themed ride vehicles that launch at 60 mph and play the veteran rock band’s music.
Tyler visited the theme park in March and rode the coaster on his 68th birthday.
