Cranberry Township will host a car cruise and free bluegrass concert Saturday, Aug. 21, in Morrison Park.
The car, jeep, and motorcycle cruise-in will take place from 4 to 6 p.m., with the concert following from 6 to 8 p.m.
“Everybody’s welcome and it’s something we would like to do for the township,” township supervisor Fred Buckholtz said at Thursday’s supervisors’ meeting.
Buckholtz said the Pine Valley Boys and Keep Off the Grass are the local bands performing.
The first 50 cars at the car cruise will receive a dash plaque, and the first 100 picnic-goers will receive a free hotdog from the Cranberry Lions food truck, according to an event flyer provided by Buckholtz.
Ice cream will be available from Boy Scout Troop 111, according to the flyer.
