Titusville’s $28 million water well replacement prep continues

Titusville City Council received an update from City Manager Neil Fratus on a $28 million water well replacement project, involving discussions with Pleasantville Borough and Oil Creek Township and preparations for PENNVEST funding. An inspection revealed multiple violations with the city’s 1902 artesian wells, necessitating significant upgrades. Council also awarded the trash hauling contract to Tri-County Industries, which includes e-waste and household hazardous waste collection, and reported a clean annual audit. Upcoming community events and a street paving project were also highlighted.
