Titusville woman accused of credit card fraud

A Titusville woman, Buffey McIntyre, 53, is facing charges for fraudulently using another woman’s credit card to make 81 transactions totaling $5,864 between November 2023 and January 2024. According to a criminal complaint by Corry state police, McIntyre, who frequently visited the victim’s home and received rides from the victim’s boyfriend, had ample opportunity to access the card. McIntyre allegedly told the victim she wouldn’t have used the card if she knew it belonged to her. Surveillance footage shows McIntyre using the card, leading to charges of unauthorized device use, theft, and identity theft. Her preliminary hearing is set for August 21 in Venango County Central Court.
