Titusville Moose Family Center 84 presented $2,000 donations to 17 first response agencies during the center’s annual emergency night on Friday.
The departments that received checks were the Titusville police and fire departments, the Pleasantville, Cherrytree, Chapmanville, Hydetown, Townville, Centerville, Bloomfield, Spartansburg and Grand Valley volunteer fire departments, and the Emergycare, Townville, Centerville, Bloomfield, Spartansburg and Grand Valley ambulance services.
There are no stipulations placed by the Moose on what the donations can be used for other than that the money remains local.
Each department was also given a set of Tommy Moose stuffed animals to keep in their vehicles and give to children who are in distressed situations.
All of the departments were also treated to a chicken and biscuits dinner at the Moose center.
