Titusville man injured in Hydetown shooting

Corry state police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a Hydetown residence early Saturday morning and left a Titusville man in critical condition.

Police said the victim, 58, and a 26-year-old Titusville man were in an altercation around 3 a.m. when the victim was shot once in the abdomen. The victim was flown to UPMC Hamot by Stat MedEvac and is listed in critical but stable condition.

Titusville City Police and Hydetown Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

The investigation continues.
