The Titusville Area School District introduced six of its ten new teachers during a recent board meeting, including two from Venango County. Among them were Kayla Mills, a special education teacher, and Jessie Pyle, a seventh-grade science teacher. Other new hires include Tyler Vath, physical education; Paige Cotton, STEAM; Rob DeLao, elementary transition; and Bethann Schantz-Hamilton, secondary transition. The board also approved the purchase of a small parcel of land from National Fuel Gas for $2,500 to expand district property. Additionally, they approved agreements for special education services, including funds for IDEA programs and an agreement with Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit to provide services to two students. The next meeting is set for Oct. 14.
