Tionesta will be the host of a KenVenture event on Sunday.
KenVenture features a group of five people who travel to random locations across the country to locate and restore broken-down abandoned vehicles and trailers and then auction off or donate the functioning vehicles to help charitable causes.
They will be in the parking lot of the Tionesta fire hall to do one of their “on the spot” jobs Sunday. They will restore a 1967 Shasta camper that was retrieved from the Allegheny National Forest.
A free pancake breakfast will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, when locals can check out the KenVenture restoration work being done. Any donations that are collected will be given to local charities.
