The Oil Heritage Festival prince and princess will be crowned after a tally of votes in the annual Tiny Tot Contest held by Youth Alternatives as part of the city’s annual festival.
The contest is open to children ages 1 to 3.
Parents and guardians may take photos of their children to the Youth Alternative office in Franklin or Oil City or email them to june.klawuhn-whitmer@yavenangocounty.org.
Photos must be received by Tuesday, July 20.
Voting will start Wednesday, July 21, and continue until 4 p.m. Friday, July 23, at the Oil Heritage Festival headquarters.
Voters will make monetary donations in containers featuring the contestants’ photos.
The winners will be announced and crowned on the evening of July 23 at Justus Park and will ride as OHF Prince and Princess in the festival parade on Saturday, July 24.
