The event is open to parents and students in seventh, eighth and ninth grades from school districts that send students to the center.
Sending schools include Rocky Grove, Franklin, Titusville, Oil City, Cranberry, East Forest and West Forest.
The open house is designed to acquaint students and their parents with the curriculum and general operations of the local technology center.
There will also be representatives on hand from local industries and post-high school institutions such as Venango College, Pitt-Titusville, Precision Manufacturing Institute, Laurel Technical Institute, Liberty Electronics, Specialty Fabricating and Powder Coating, Career Link, Keystone Community Education Council, Venango Technology Center’s Practical Nursing Program and many more.
There will be a soup dinner served during the event and baked goods will be sold.
