The Valley Grove Education Association (VGEA), the union that represents Valley Grove teachers, collected and donated supplies to the New Life Unit at UPMC Northwest, which will be provided to families who experience a pregnancy or infant loss at the hospital. Items included embroidered blankets, children and adult books about grief, memory-making items and mementos. Northwest nurses provide comfort and care to those who have experienced this loss. They also provide support and resources to families while at the hospital. From left are LPN Paxton Reed, RN-CBC Chris Henry, VGEA members Jade Buckley and Molly Haskins, RNC-OB Kaleigh Gustafson and VGEA member Erynn Miller.
