The Franklin Fine Arts Council’s annual Taste of Talent Vocal Competition, which is open to individual soloists age 16 and over, will get underway on June 26 at Bandstand Park.
Competitions will be held Wednesdays – June 26, July 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 7 p.m.
Semifinals will take place Saturday, Aug. 3, at 7 p.m.
Finals will be held Sunday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m. immediately after A Taste of Franklin.
The winner will receive $1,000 from the Franklin-Oil Region Credit Union. Prize money totaling $200 ($100 cash and $100 in Franklin retail gift certificate) will be awarded to the three semifinalists. Additional prizes will be presented to semifinalists.
