A new business offering tarot reading services and metaphysical and witchcraft supplies has opened in Franklin.
Whistling Owl Tarot and Metaphysical Supplies opened Feb. 1 in the lower level of The Galleria at Olde Liberty, 1252 Liberty St. in Franklin.
The owners, Heidi Whistle and her son, Richard Bays, said the business offers tarot, rune, tea leaf and natal chart readings, and some other services are offered by appointment.
And it sells metaphysical books, particularly covering “spirituality and finding your inner strength,” Whistle said.
Whistle said she and Bays chose the Galleria because they had a working relationship with the owners, who arranged for them to be readers at the Franklin Witch Walks.
The store is not geared to any specific religion, she said.
“There’s a lot of people in this area that this type of store kind of caters to,” she said. “I would say we specialize in knowledge; if someone comes seeking knowledge, they can find it.”
