The Oil City Heritage Society will hold a one-day T-shirt sale to benefit local nonprofit organizations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Venango Museum on Seneca Street.
The Heritage Society has invited all area nonprofit groups to display and sell their commemorative, dated or retro T-shirts.
The invitation is open to schools, clubs, organizations and others. All organizations will keep their proceeds.
Museum director Betsy Kellner said five organizations have signed up to participate. The deadline for more entries is Friday.
A space can be reserved by calling the museum at (814) 676-2007.
In addition, the Heritage Society will offer for sale its “Looking Back” tabloids and copies of the 1968 “Our Town” film about Oil City.
