Sugarcreek Borough police, in conjunction with Community Services of Venango County, collected $1,200 worth of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products in the department’s sixth annual food drive.
The event was held Dec. 17.
“Each year the Venango County community steps up and helps their fellow citizens in their time of need, proving that Venango County is so supportive of their neighbors,” police said in a press release.
