Students experience the outdoors

Franklin Area High School Outdoor Club members help each other cross a creek during one of their trips.

An Outdoor Club that was formed at Franklin Area Junior-Senior High School this year gave 42 students the opportunity to embark on trips to locations around western Pennsylvania.

The school district provided transportation to Cook Forest State Park, Oil Creek State Park, Seneca Hills Bible Camp, Camp Lutherlyn, Two Mile Run County Park, Rimrock Overlook and Chapman State Park.
