Lion Manufacturing, a student-run enterprise at Clarion-Limestone High School, has been invited to Capitol Hill Manufacturing Day in Washington, D.C., by the Northwest Industrial Resources Center. In March, four students, along with teachers and administrators, will discuss the role of manufacturing in education with Congress. The program, operated by students in grades 9-12, helps local businesses with small-batch production and custom orders, providing hands-on experience. During the trip, the students will highlight their partnership with the Northwest Industrial Resources Center and explore opportunities to expand similar programs in other schools.
