Multiple fire departments responded to a structure fire in Knox on Sunday night, according to Knox residents and Clarion County 911.
The structure fire involved an apartment building at the corner of Petrolia Street and East State Street in Knox around 7:30 p.m. Reports and photographs indicated that the structure was fully engulfed but that it had not damaged the nearby Rhea Lumber Co. The fire’s origins were unknown at the time, with fire crews still working at the scene at 9:30 p.m.
Knox Volunteer Fire Department, Shippenville Volunteer Fire Department and Knox Ambulance responded to the blaze. Knox also requested the assistance of Washington and Lincoln fire departments.
