UPMC Northwest will offer a free stroke support group Tuesday, Oct. 17.
The group, which offers education, support and resources for individuals and families that have been affected by a stroke, meets from 1 to 2 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month.
This month’s topic, “What is Happening in my Brain and Where is it Happening?”, will be presented by Beverly Lawton, stroke program coordinator at UPMC Northwest.
Participants should use the hospital’s main entrance.
