The City of Franklin street department will sweep streets in the following areas next week:
Monday – Third shift: random areas
Tuesday – Third shift: odd side of Buffalo Street from 11th to 15th streets and the even side of Chestnut Street from 15th to 14th streets
Wednesday – Third shift: both sides of Railroad and West Park streets; First shift: S.PI.F.Y. Day (Show Pride in Franklin Its Yours)
Thursday – Third shift: even side of South Park, 12th, 13th and 14th streets
Friday – Third shift: odd side of 14th Street and both sides of Franklin Avenue
Residents may see temporary No Parking signs along some streets with times and days to be swept. Anti-skid materials may be swept into piles in front of residents’ property to be picked up by city crews.
Residents should call the city garage at (814) 437-1600 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays to give the location of the piles that need to be picked up.
