The City of Franklin street department will sweep streets in the following areas next week:
– Monday – Third shift: business district and professional building area; First shift: Gurney Road side of Franklin Heights
– Wednesday – Third shift: business district, alleys in the 1300 block of Liberty St., lot E, and City Hall; First shift: Gurney Road side of Franklin Heights
– Thursday – Third shift: both sides of 13th St. and the Cofields Corners area, lot C; First shift, Gurney Road side of Franklin Heights
Residents may see temporary No Parking signs along some streets with times and days to be swept. Anti-skid materials may be swept into piles in front of residents’ property to be picked up by city crews.
Residents should call the city garage at (814) 437-1600 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays to give the location of the piles that need to be picked up.
