From staff reports
Graffiti Gallery has announced its Spring Show for 2016, featuring the work of Seneca-based artist Michael Roser.
Roser is self-taught and has mastered drawing and painting in styles from photo-realistic portraits to expressive abstracts. He received the top prize in the 2015 Oil Heritage Art Show and sells and exhibits his work nationally.
The juried, open-call show will be built around a cross-section of his work and will also include work by area artists Abby Bunnell, Carol McDonald, Heidi Heck, Cindy Andes and Judy Slater, among others.
The Spring Show will open Friday, April 8, with a “meet the artists” reception from 5 – 7 pm in the gallery, located at street level in the National Transit Annex, next to 206 Seneca Street in Oil City. It will be open through May 14 from noon to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Graffiti Gallery events are free and open to the public. For more information, call 814-676-5303.
