Venango County residents may sign up for participation in Second Harvest’s mobile food pantry, which will be open at 3 p.m. Friday, June 9, at the Polk Sugar Valley Lodge.
Those wishing to participate in the food assistance program must pre-register between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, June 5, by calling 437-7038.
The food pantry is provided for residents of Venango County who are in need of food assistance. There is no cost. A valid form of identification is required for all food pick-up.
Those attending should take boxes or containers in which to take food home in. Shopping carts will be supplied.
Pre-registration is required.
Polk Sugar Valley Lodge is located at 196 Church St., Polk.
The event is sponsored by Second Harvest Food Bank of northwestern Pennsylvania, in partnership with Polk and Nicklin United Methodist churches, Polk Presbyterian Church and the Polk Sugar Valley Lodge.
