Three students — Kevin Songer, Evan Bernard and Jamie Fetzer — have been recognized with scholarships for academic excellence in Venango Technology Center’s Practical Nursing Program at the conclusion of the first academic phase.
Each student was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the UPMC Northwest Auxiliary for their academic efforts. Peggy Stroupe, of UPMC Northwest Auxiliary, presented the scholarships to the students.
Songer, Bernard and Fetzer are expected to graduate from the nursing program in June.
