Salvation Army sends supplies to areas hit by hurricane

The Salvation Army is mobilizing its Emergency Disaster Services network to provide critical relief, including mass feeding, sheltering, clean-up support, and emotional care, to those affected by Hurricane Helene in the southern states. The Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania sent eight pallets of flood kits to Philadelphia, which will be dispatched to impacted areas. Financial donations can be made online, by phone, or by mail to support the relief efforts, as in-kind donations are not currently accepted. For more information on the response, visit their disaster services website.
